The most desirable emerald colours are bluish green to pure green, with vivid colour saturation. Colombian Emeralds for years have been the most desired. In Emerald we expect to see inclusions called an internal “jardin”, or garden. Typically Emeralds fall in type 3 clarity group, it is so rare to find a clean Emerald, barely seeing any inclusions.

The central stone is a Colombian non-oiled emerald in a rough shape. The design takes inspiration from the traditional oriental brush strokes inpaintings where you see the outlines of mountain sand imagined fairylands. The diamond halo frame represents the clouds and mist that surrounds the mountains. This piece encapsulates the ethereal nature of these paintings.
